Closing Concert for Christmas Tree Festival

The closing of the Festival will be marked on Sunday by a team of Bellringers ringing from about 5.30, followed by a short CLOSING CONCERT given by local musicians and performers which will start at 6pm with a glass of wine prior to the performance.
The winner of the favourite decorated tree will be announced so if you have not yet voted, there is still time to have your say

A fitting conclusion to our Christmas Tree Festival, this will be a fairly informal gathering of different local performers including:

• Handbells,
• Andy Beattie with his Flugelhorn,
• Folk Carols,
• Soliloquies,
• 2 Congregational Carols

In addition, there will be the presentation of the award for the tree attracting the most votes for "the Best Decorated Tree of the Year".

A glass of wine or non-alcoholic drinks will be available at a small cost at the beginning and whilst there will not be a full compliment of seating, there will be standing room for what will be a concert of around an hour.
